ask the kabtin !!

People.......tara wallah 7aram...ilwath3 ma yinsikit 3annah !!!!

Last Christmas..i wanted to take a closer look at gymnastic facilities in some
of the sporting clubs in kuwait...now I'm talking about clubs like kazma, alarabi, Kuwait and Qadsiya as well..

well my friends....it's a crime against our youth!!!!

No one has the right to blame our kids if they chose not to participate in such sports!! The training hall were out-dated, underemployed, and most of all....FILTHY !!! But the filthy topic is a huge one that deserves a post by it self.

This could be said about many facilities in all sectors of sport...

curiously....All the amenities and innovations were found in one place at all sporting clubs that I've been to....The dowania's...
we're talking about big screen TV's, pool tables, cafeteria's and the list goes on and on....

If the people in charge spend a fraction of the money spent on such crap, we wouldn't be in such a state of underachieving!!!!

Kaka'.........

Brazil are dead!!

2 games into this world cup .... which i'm loving by the way
so much better than 2002...
everyone keeps saying that brazil are the team to beat..but
i only see Kaka'....no ronaldiho, no ronaldo or adriano..just
Kaka' !! he's the only one trying to play and win.

by the way...thank god our team didn't make it...we would have been ripped to
pieces.

inshallah our country would put some effort to build a new generation to maybe....
in 2014 we could be proud of the kuwaiti team

i love ghana, ivory coast and the saudis played well!!!
what happened to italy last night!

whatever.......i'm lovin this world cup!!!!!

Start young

To fix the problem, we have to start fresh, from the ground up!
I mean we need to take a long and honest look at the education system in Kuwait, give physical education it's right place and show our young that their society cares...When i see what kids here in the states have available i feel like crying!!

We aren't lesser people than americans, we have the resources to be a protagonist nation in all sports..But we have to start from square one!

Take care of our children...

Ladies & gents....We live in a dictatorship !!

I've lived in the U.S. for so long, but never in my time here have i seen a giant poster of G.Bush or Clinton before him in a stadium or a sporting event!!!

The same could be said about all European countries and I'd like to say most modern states....BUT, this trend is found all over the middleeast; which by the way is so democratic and modern!! some sarcasm here ;)

This blind gesture by the people who -for lack of a better expression- like to kiss ass and try oh so hard to impress their masters gives me a feeling of shame, and sickness at being an athlete in Kuwait.....I hope in this new and delicate period that we as a nation, could change this shameless act and really focus on the real issues that haunt our sporting community.

It's not your fault

what the hell.....i swear the condition of all, yes ALL football fields in Kuwait is a mess!! A total mess...wallah most football fields in bnaider are in much better shape and quality than in alqadsiya or alarabi clubs!

how do they expect sportsmen and WOMEN to excel and produce results in this environment...

Here we are

Some people say it's a lost cause !!
in fact, that's what most people in Kuwait say, i grew up knowing that sports and physical activity always came after school and other social duties that our culture imposes on us, add to that the "REAL" importance that the educational system in our beloved country saves for for sporting and athletic activities...
...
....
.....
it took me a long, long, I mean really long time to get my family to shift thier attitudes towards sports and to push my younger siblings into all kinds of athletic activities from a younger age...something that i did as a boy but not as much as i would have liked !!

is there a future....i think so..we as kuwaities have amazing talent in all fields, and what makes it even more awsome is that we are a country with a small population and VERY limited resources in the proper facility department !
